Douglas Laing’s Master Blender has hand-selected and married together exceptionally rich and sweet Single Grain Scotch Whiskies with a higher-than-normal proportion of the finest aged Malt Whiskies from his preferred Distilleries – predominantly from Islay – to create this crowning glory of Scotch Whisky.
Tasting Notes
On the nose, puffs of peat smoke give way to citrus peel and honeycomb, underpinned by soft barley notes. The palate reveals layers of charred oak and dry earth, balanced by a rich butterscotch sweetness. The finish lingers with gentle smoke, bonfire ash, a touch of allspice, and warming vanilla.
